Fox Magic Audio Recorder records audio streams in either MP3 or WAV format.
This program records audio streams in either MP3 or WAV format. It can name your recorded files automatically by adding a sequential number; in addition, it allows you to schedule an automatic recording event, and set the recording volume too.
The program's interface is really simple and easy to use. It allows you to set the starting file name and select the output format and the audio device to record from. This way you can record the audio from your audio CDs, a microphone, line-in input, phone line, etc. You can also adjust the recording volume level, set the program to add sequential numbering to output file names, and select whether to overwrite existing output files or not.
The audio quality configuration takes place in a separate window. There you can set the number of bits per sample, sampling rate, and number of channels. But the most interesting asset of this program is probably its capability to schedule audio recording jobs. You can set a starting date and time, stopping date and time, or both. Unfortunately, you can schedule just one recording job at a time.
Finally, the program also includes a built-in audio player that allows you to listen to any of your recently recorded (or in fact any) MP3 or WAV files.
